Do you check your breasts monthly?
When was your last mammography?

Tsekkaatko rintasi kuukausittain?
Koska olit viimeksi mammografiassa?

ps. this photograph
was published on German consumer association's
Stiftung Warentest website
Yes, they asked permission! :)

Eight months is not a long time, you have had difficult times not so long ago. But you sound so positive and happy that it makes me feel the same ^^. The scar looks ok, not bad, and "Yes, I do the checkings!"

  2. The early photos made me shudder. I am glad to know you are healthy now. I think it was important that you shared your experiences of going through treatment and calling attention to the issue.

  3. Oho, sullahan on hieno partneri, oikein Stiftung Warentest.
    Hienosti on sun haavasi parantuneet.

  4. That scar is healing beautifully and only after 8 months it is almost completely gone! It's hard to believe. Skin is an amazing organism, but a skilled surgeon, and most importantly, your shining positive attitude make the healing process work.

Thank you for sharing your personal story. I never knew this was part of your personal reality till now and never would have guessed from your writing and fotos that you had sustained such an ordeal so recently.

You are a brave and amazing woman.

  5. Hienosti on parantunut!

  9. Todella hienosti on parantunut, upeaa!

  14. Hienosti on iholla parantunut.

  18. Wonderful to see that you talk about this so openly ... and that things go well! (I have probably no reason to check my breasts; rather the prostata ... and I do check!) :-)

  19. Thank you! I have two possibilities: to go on or worry. I will be nervous when the check up is in June but it doesn't help me if I worry advance or all the time.
This will be the situation rest of my life.
I've chosen to live my life like I did before...

I guess you don't know but men can have breast cancer too!
Not very common though. In Finland about 10 men are diagnosed every year.
